Hipping Hall has been one of the North-West's most exciting and publicised restaurant and Hotel openings of recent years. The house itself dates from the 15th century but has been transformed by a stylish restoration into a place where the old and the new blend seamlessly to provide a profoundly satisfying stay.Hipping Hall is a Hideaway Country House with beautifully appointed rooms, stunning cuisine and a calm and relaxed atmosphere. Our individual bedrooms have been designed using sumptuous fabrics and soothing colours to create an air of calm and relaxation. All have ensuite bathrooms, some with a bath and shower and others have large walk in showers. Each room has a handmade Vi-spring bed, made up with gorgeous white linen and flat screen television.Presiding over the stoves is Head Chef, New Zealander, Brent Hulena. Brent's passion is to produce dishes with strong rustic flavours but give you the finesse and style that you would expect to find in the very best fine dining restaurants. Dinner takes place in our magnificent medieval dining room where you will be treated to Brent's no-nonsense approach to fine dining - perfect for the rugged borders of Cumbria, Lancashire and Yorkshire.
