Soak in the big bath with a glass of wine, enjoy some music on the CD player, cook your favourite dish in the modern kitchen or stroll next door to the local Inn for a beer and something to eat. Snuggle up in the comfy beds under the warm duvets and drift to sleep listening to the Church Bells of St Marys.Churchmouse House is contemporary in style (no chintz) but has retained some original oak beams and quirkiness. If you are looking for a getaway and a relaxing break, Churchmouse House is available to rent for weekends (3 nights), mid week breaks (4 nights) and week long stays. We will try our best to accommodate your needs, regarding arrival dates and times, length of stays, numbers of guests.At Churchmouse House there are two spacious bedrooms, one with a double bed, the other with a double and a single bed, and the leather sofa in the living room opens up into a double bed (suitable for children). The maximum number of guests is 7, but do remember that there is one bathroom, so up to 5 guests may be more comfortable. A supplement is charged for more than 5 guests staying and use of the sofa bed. Amenities: first floor - open plan: Two large leather sofas (one converting into a sofabed.) Contemporary art and furnishings. Remote control living flame gas fire. Full gas central heating throughout. Flat screen TV, DVD, Video Recorder and CD Player in the lounge. Some DVD films available. Free Wireless broadband throughout the building. Fully equipped kitchen with fan-assisted ovenhalogen hob, freezer and fridge, dishwasher and washer. Lots of cooking utensils - we are aiming for a home from home feel. Dining table and chairs. Second floor: Spacious, family-size bathroom with large corner bath and separate shower cubicle. Two bedrooms, both beautifully appointed with comfy mattresses, fluffy pillows and warm duvets. Main bedroom with Edwardian oak furniture and original exposed beams. Double bed. View on to town and over hills. Second bedroom with double bed and single bed, contemporary feel. Flat screen TV, CD and DVD player. Duvets and bed linen provided. Towels available to hire at £6 per person Travel cot, high chair and stair gates available on request. Non smoking throughout. Sorry, no henstag parties. Directions

Take Junction 36 of the M6 and follow signs to Kirkby Lonsdale (6 miles). Take the Booths supermarket turning off the A65 in to Kirkby Lonsdale (at the roundabout). Follow road to the T junction (100 yards) and turn left. Follow the road round and down the hill. At next T junction at the bottom of the hill (200 yards) turn right and you will see Churchmouse Cheeses shop on your left. Pull up outside the shop to unload. Churchmouse House is located above the cheese shop. Free parking is available nearby ( we will provide directions to the free parking on arrival)
